EVSU Ischools up close

Ischools Project recipients, chosen
Fourteen public high schools in Region VIII were chosen as recipients of thesecond phase of implementation of the Ischools Program of the Commission on Information and Communications Technology. http://cict.com/

The recipient schools are:

  • Taft National High School - Eastern Samar
  • Alfredo Parilla National High School - Palompon, Leyte
  • Granja – Kalinawan National High School - Jaro, Leyte
  • Tacloban City National High School - Tacloban City
  • Granja-Kalinawan National High School-Annex -Jaro, Leyte
  • Sta. Ana National High School - Lapaz, Leyte
  • Guinarona National High School - Dagami, Leyte
  • Makiwalo Integrated School - Mondragon, Northern Samar
  • San Isidro National High School - San Isidro, Northern Samar
  • Osmena National High School - Marabut, Northern Samar

Each school will receive:

  • 20+ 1 PCs with open source application
  • 1 year free wireless internet connection
  • Multimedia projector
  • 1 3-in-1 printer
  • UPS and 1 webcam (server only)
  • 2 units air conditioners

The I school Project incorporates Information and Communications Technology in education towards strengthening classroom learning and instruction by expanding access to various sources of information.

To oversee the said project is CICT partner in the region, the http://evsu.educ.com/Eastern Visayas State University with the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Danilo Pulma, as the project manager.
